Yemen struggles for survival, with over 80% of its population enduring a dire humanitarian crisis marked by hunger, thirst, and disease. According to OCHA, millions of Yemenis lack access to food, clean water, and healthcare, positioning Yemen as one of the world’s largest humanitarian emergencies.
Ulfah has successfully improved the lives of thousands of Yemenis through its diverse projects, which have made a tangible difference in the lives of Yemeni families.
Ulfah exerts significant efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and provide basic necessities to affected areas through its diverse projects aimed at delivering integrated assistance.
At Ulfah, we have expanded the beneficiary base to include over 6,000 impoverished families by providing urgent aid that covers their basic needs.

Ulfah distributed sacrificial meat to 1,500 Yemeni families, bringing joy to the hearts of over 5,000 people. Amid the difficult conditions and suffering endured by Yemen, the Sacrifice project successfully brought smiles to the faces of thousands of Yemenis by supporting them and providing them with a complete meal.
Bread, a staple food, forms the cornerstone of food security. Amid the difficult conditions in Yemen, Ulfah distributed 13,600 bundles of bread to provide sustenance for 68,000 people. The Loaf of Life project directly contributed to alleviating human suffering and enhancing food security for Yemeni families
The Iftar meal is a fundamental pillar of a fasting person’s health during Ramadan. Keen to provide adequate nutrition for needy families, Ulfah distributed 3,150 Iftar meals to 9,450 people during the holy month of Ramadan. These meals helped ease the burden on impoverished Yemeni families during this blessed time.
Responding to the urgent need for food in Yemen, Ulfah distributed 500 food baskets, benefiting 2,500 individuals. These baskets include a variety of essential food items (flour, sugar, rice, dates, as well as oils, canned goods, and infant formula), which help families meet their daily needs for an entire month. Amid rising prices and deteriorating economic conditions, these baskets serve as vital support for families struggling to access food.
Facing the contaminated water crisis in Hadramout, which threatens the lives of thousands, Ulfah provided 400,000 liters of clean water to 1,000 families. This contributed to a noticeable decrease in the number of waterborne disease cases in recent months, underscoring the importance of access to clean water in maintaining public health and achieving sustainable development.

More than 30 million Yemenis, half of whom are children, are in dire need of humanitarian assistance. The images of emaciated children and weeping women silently cry out. Let us make their voices heard and unite to save their lives.
